Reason why I hate cats. They’re so scary.
wow good job teaching your kid its fine to just HIT AN ANIMAL
a+ parenting, it’s their fault, and the cat was just reacting fucking normally
and the best part is that whoever is behind the camera doesnt even try to stop any of them at any point
I hope the baby got a concussion.
I like how everyone is blaming the small child who is, at that age, BARELY MORE INTELLIGENT THAN THE FUCKING CAT.
Seriously guys. The kid is just doing what instinct is telling him to. The cat is doing the same. Kids ARE annoying at times. Cats ARE pretty damn scary on occasion But neither of them know any better.
The difference between them is that the cat has the permanent excuse of instinct on its side. Meanwhile, the kid will probably be told at this point, “I know that was scary, honey, but that’s why we don’t hit Kitty. It’s mean and wrong and now you know not to EVER do it again.”
It’s not that the parents neglected to teach the kid not to hit animals. It’s that the ENTIRETY OF CHILDHOOD is one MASSIVE learning experience. And you have to keep telling them the same shit over and over again. I’ve never come across a single child who had the capacity to learn something after being told just ONCE (or twice or twelve times…). Hell, most ADULTS can’t even do that. It’s completely unfair to judge a child—and their parents—for doing something that’s typical of pretty much all children everywhere. It’s like blaming this cat for lashing out at the kid. It’s part of their nature.
Teaching kids is a long and grueling process that requires constant reminders of what is right and what is wrong. It is exhausting and, even after all your efforts, the kid may STILL insist on harassing the poor cat. Sometimes, Kitty has to hit them in the fucking face before the lesson finally sinks in.
Point being, y’all are kid/parent-bashing for horrible reasons and whine more than any of the worst brats I’ve ever met.
That is all true EXCEPT in the original video the parent told the child to hit the cat.
So we can place the blame solely on the parent here.
